Club Meetings:
The Willowdale Gem and Mineral Club meets every second Friday, September through June, commencing at 7:45 PM. Most meetings are held at the Armour Heights Community Centre, 2140 Avenue Rd.(at Wilson Ave.). Guest speakers are announced in our news bulletin, the VOX ROX, some two weeks prior to the meeting.
Special meetings are held throughout the year; e.g.

- Auction Night each February
- Potluck and silent auction night with a guest speaker each June.
Newsletter:
Members receive the VOX ROX bulletin ten times each year. It is published and circulated monthly at least 6 days prior to meetings and is sent to members via Canada Post or e-mail.
Our club is a member of SCRIBE, a Canadian-US group of mineral club editors
devoted improving the quality of club newsletters.
Field Trips:
Our club sponsors at least two local field trips each year to indoor and outdoor sites within greater Toronto. We are a member of the Central Canadian Federation of Mineralogical Societies (CCFMS) and, through them, our members can participate in numerous rockhounding field trip events throughout the year.
Membership:
Membership in the WG&MC is $15.00 for single members and $20.00 for families. Membership is open to all persons over the age of 18 years, and to persons younger than 18 years provided they are sponsored by an adult member of the Club.
Preferably, payment of dues are made directly to you Membership Chair at regular meetings so that membership cards can be issued on the spot. Alternately, memberships can be paid by mail to our postal box with the application form included in our brochure and a cheque made payable to our club.
Other Activities:
Our club is planning a number of special workshops. Depending on interest within the club, topics such as mineral identification, wire work and stone carving are being considered.
