To help promote the exchange of information among all rockhounds, the CCFMS has recently added a couple pages that should foster such an exchange of information.
Check out the Email Distribution List Page and learn how to receive information about your favourite hobby or profession via email.

CCFMS Welcomes Two New Clubs to the Federation
Two new clubs were ratified at the April 3 AGM of CCFMS. Please help us welcome Club de minéralogie de Fermont and Club de minéralogie du Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean to the CCFMS.
Club de minéralogie de Fermont meets the 2nd Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month (except June - September) 19:00 to 21:00 at the Centre d'Interprétation de Fermont Place D'Aviault, Fermont, Québec. Its focus is on fields trips, mineral identification and exchange, lectures, museum involvement, mineral collection. Club de minéralogie du Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 19h Université du Québec à Chicoutimi room P2-3080. Its focus is on monthly meetings (talk on either a mineral, a locality, a mineralogical phenomenon, a technique, etc.) and field trips.
