Rules, Safety, & Insurance:
Extra rules, perhaps, for some of the sites - will publish as need be.
For the Bancroft mini trip June 22-23, we have some extra “rules”.
- Schickler & Desmont Mines require that you fill out a permission form.
- This also is a pay-to-guide trip of $10 per person.
- Even though all the “east of Bancroft” sites are crown land, it is expected that you will follow good safety practices. Thanks.
Please ensure that you read this document - it is very important that you are an ethical rockhounder. Thank you.
Even though Bancroft is not considered “super remote”, we’re visiting some hard-to-get to sites. Therefore, knowing the GPS co-ordinates are critical if there is an emergency. Thank you.
