Annual Gem & Mineral Show

The highlight of the Society's activities is its annual Gem and Mineral Show. This event is held in mid July at the Carmichael Arena, and continues to grow each year. The show features dealers, displays, demonstrations, silent auction, video theatre, kid's activities, outdoor vendors, a field trip, and metal detecting and prospecting demonstrations. Hourly and grand door prizes are held as well.
